David J. Zumpano, CPA, Esq., practices law in New Hartford, New York. He graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York and practiced as an accountant with Price Waterhouse before receiving his Law degree from Syracuse University College of Law. He is founder of the Estate Planning Law Center where he limits his practice to Estate Planning and Elder Law and counsels clients in the area of Estate, Tax and Charitable planning, as well as Asset Preservation and Medicaid Planning. Dave is founder and Principal of Legacy Planning LLC, which counsels clients on a national level on the integration of Estate and Tax planning objectives with individual personal goals. Dave is also founder and President of Medicaid Practice Systems, LLC, which provides education on Medicaid laws and rules to estate planning attorneys across the United States. Dave speaks regularly to various professional groups including various Bar Associations, the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys and many financial planning organizations. Dave has published articles on asset preservation, charitable giving, and is a contributing author to Giving; Philanthropy for Everyone, Quantum Press, published October 2002.

Dave is a member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and other legal and accounting professional organizations. Dave is a 2001 graduate of the Esperti Peterson Institute for Advanced Wealth Strategies.

He resides with his wife, Christine, and children Maria, Olivia and Angelo, in Sherrill, New York and serves on the boards of several charitable organizations.
